TOKYO, Japan - Photo shows Japanese film director Yasujiro Ozu (L) and his main screenwriter, Kogo Noda. A book based on diaries by Ozu and Noda that detail their collaborative process when they worked on movie scripts in Tateshina Kogen in Nagano Prefecture, will be published in late July 2013.

Yoji Yamada to shoot film based on 'Tokyo Story'

NEW YORK, United States - Japanese actress Kyoko Kagawa speaks at a news conference Oct. 4, the same day Yasujiro Ozu's movies were shown at the 41st New York Film Festival at the Lincoln Center to mark 100 years since the late Japanese director was born.
